The Cloverdale Senior Center invites you to join them for a trip down Memory Lane on Wednesday, Aug. 13 when they host a special “Those Were the Days” performance by William Florian, former Lead Singer of the famous ‘60s group The New Christy Minstrels.

Described as an upbeat, energetic musical journey, selections will include favorites like “Lemon Tree,” “This Land is Your Land,” “Those Were the Days,” “Annie’s Song,” and “Kisses Sweeter than Wine.”

The program will also celebrate the beloved music of Peter Paul & Mary, John Denver, Pete Seeger and The Mamas & The Papas, as Florian shares his uplifting original music and amusing stories.

Dinner, prepared by Guest Chef Christine Flaherty, begins at 5 p.m. and will include appetizers, Greek salad, lemon chicken, roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, warm pita and dessert.

A limited number of tickets at $30 each are still available and can be purchased at the Senior Center, 311 N. Main Street.
