I spent the night in Cloverdale Indiana in 2008. It is a town about seventy-five miles east of Indianapolis and has about a five or six thousand population ,I believe. It is where the Ku Klux Klan has their annual convention which was going on while I was there. It looks like you missed that town.
Chris, you’re right. I did – but it wasn’t intentional. Thank you for your comment.
I have also been through Cloverdale, Indiana. It definitely made me think of my hometown here in Cloverdale, Ca. I love this town!
No other place will ever be better than Cool Cloverdale!
It’s not in the USA but occasionally when I Google maps request Cloverdale, CA it takes me to a Cloverdale in Canada!
Arlene, the same thing happens to me when I try to Google Windsor CA.
The Cloverdale in B.C. actually visited our Cloverdale when I was in high school. Their High School Band came to play with us under Mr. C. and we housed every student throughout town. It was a lot of fun – great people!
Tiffany, I seem to remember we had some kind of a “Sister City” program with another Cloverdale – not sure now if it was Oregon or B.C., but I think it was B.C. Does that ring a bell?
Hmmm…not sure. I just remember the band coming from B.C. because a student stayed with us but I don’t recall anything more but it sounds like something we would have done.
It does, doesn’t it. I may have to do a little research on that one.
I remember students coming from Cloverdale B.C. during the Citrus Fair. I was in the 3rd grade at the time, so that would have been in 1975. I remember my teacher (Mrs. Coon) had the B.C. students share about the differences of the two Cloverdale’s.
