Who will fly away with the title Mr. Eagle 2013?
Cloverdale High School’s Class of 2013 is sponsoring the 4th Annual Mr. Eagle Extravaganza this Wednesday, February 6 from 7 to 9 pm in the high school’s east gym on School Street. All proceeds benefit senior class activities.
Twelve contestants will be competing in this year’s “Man-geant” (male pageant), including Eddie Bentall, Paul Cabrera, Jordan Johnson, Travis Jones, Isaac Kreger, Dennis Lindelof, Darin Marcucci, Roger Martinez, Scott Ragan, Chris Sterling, Jose Torres and Colton Wasniak.
The opening dance routine is being choreographed by 2011 Citrus Fair Queen Jenna Beavers, along with Andrea Perez, Brooke Robinson and Crystal Stone.
Contestants will be judged in casual wear, swimwear and, thanks to the generosity of Tuxedo Gallery in Santa Rosa, they will also be judged in formal wear.
Judges will also be scoring them based on their individual talent routines and their ability to speak in front of an audience. Aroon Thai Market in Santa Rosa has graciously agreed to donate egg rolls for the eating competition portion of the program.
Mr. Eagle 2013 will be chosen based on originality, personality, and presentation in each category.
In addition to the title and honor of being named Mr. Eagle 2013, the 1st place winner will receive a $30 Gift Certificate to Hamburger Ranch, tickets for two to the movies and $100 in cash, along with his sash and gold crown.
The first runner up will be named Mr. Eaglet, and along with his sash and blue crown, will receive a $20 Gift Certificate to Papa’s Pizza and $50 in cash.
The contestant coming in third will be named Mr. Hatchling, and will receive a sash and yellow crown, along with a $10 Gift Certificate to Yogurtdale and $25 in cash.
