The Cloverdale Arts Alliance and the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce are working together to create Sculpture Trail, a new year-round sculpture display in both communities, with sculptures changing every nine months.

Cloverdale and Geyserville are currently seeking sculptors for the first Sculpture Trail exhibit which will run from June 8, 2013 through Feb. 6, 2014.

There is no entry fee and artists may submit multiple pieces.  Selected sculptors will be receive $200 to defray the cost of transportation.

In Cloverdale, only three-dimensional, free-standing sculptures suitable for outdoor display in the downtown area will be considered.  Geyserville will consider both free-standing and staked sculptures for their portion of the Sculpture Trail on Geyserville Avenue.

Other activities and tours to promote this event are in the planning stages.

Additional information, including an entry form with guidelines, is available online or by calling the Arts Alliance at 894-4410.

Deadline for entries is March 15, 2013. Selections for each community will be made from entries received.
