Towers Gallery presents “Bright Beginnings”
The newest exhibit at Towers Gallery, “Bright Beginnings,” runs through March 31 and features oils by Cloverdale’s Janice Cralle’ and wood turning by Sebastopol’s Dennis Lasher.
Towers Gallery is a cooperative members’ gallery showcasing the artistic endeavors of forty North County artists who exihibit acrylics, assemblages, ceramics, clay and scratchboard, garden art, glass, jewelry, oils, Origami, photography, watercolor.
The gallery also carries two and three dimensional fine art, antiques, Italian leather handbags, wearable art, local food delicacies, and unique gifts for all occasions. Studios are available for rent, as well.
Cloverdale artists showing are Nancy Burres, Bill Cox, Melissa Cox, Jack Fitzsimmons, Walter Gendell, Ann Gillis, Betsi Hamilton, Debbie Shanahan, and Jim Van Deren.
Cloverdale High School’s 11th and 12th grade art students exhibit through juried process selection, showing a variety of mediums. Artists include Crysta Jojola, Dennis Lindelof, Shaylee Roberts, Morgan Robinson, Madison Stewart and Delani Waller.
Hailing from Ukiah are Lou Feigin, wood turning, and Alex Murray, scratch and clay board.
Wood artisans of prominence include Don Ajello, Ralph Carlson, Scott Clark and Dennis Lashar.
Local artist Nancy Burres offers fun and creative art classes for all ages using acrylic and oil. Choose from small groups or private lessons. Advance registration required.
An Artists’ Reception for “Bright Beginnings” will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, with complimentary wine, hor d’oeuvres, raffles and live music. Everyone is welcome.
