Baby, it’s cold outside…can you help?

Warm clothing in all sizes is needed. (Andrea Winter)

The Bridge Foursquare Church is looking for donations of warm, gently-used sweaters, coats, jackets and sweatshirts in all sizes to give out at the Redwood Empire Food Bank’s monthly food giveaway at the Cloverdale Citrus Fairgrounds on Thursday, Jan. 17.

At last month’s event, they distributed 65 articles of warm clothing, in addition to about 80 pairs of jeans.

This time around they would like to collect blankets to hand out, as well.

Clothing and blanket donations can be dropped off at the church, which is located at 50 Commerce Lane, Unit C, in the Reuser Business Park on Sunday, Jan. 13 between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Please do not leave bags outside if no one is around.

They can also be dropped off any weekday through Tuesday, Jan. 15 between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. at the offices of Management Connections, 129 N. Cloverdale Blvd., Suite 9.

In-town pick up of donated items can also be arranged by calling Marilyn at 894-2494 prior to Jan. 15.
