~ A free Music Workshop, featuring electric instruments, will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Cloverdale Center for the Arts, 105 E. First Street. Workshop instructors David Garland, Tom McBride and Oscar Calderon welcome all, from beginners to experienced musicians and music enthusiasts to join their 90 minute jam sessions. ~ Creative ReStore is open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday at the Cloverdale Senior Center, 311 N. Main St. Donated fabric, yarn, patterns, thread, buttons, craft kits and other supplies are offered for sale to the community at rock bottom prices during this weekly fundraiser for the Senior Center. 894-4826.

~ A limited number of dinners at $20 each will be prepared and served by Patti & Friends Catering from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 in the Vino di Amore Tasting Lounge, 105 N. From 7:30 to 10 p.m., Jon Gonzales showcases ukulele rhythms, kazoo-buzzings, and original indie-pop diddies from his first solo album “Water ‘n Whiskey.” Gonzales has created original melodies in conjunction with the ukulele’s magical charm and chimey plings. ~ The Fratello Marionettes will present the classic story of “Peter and the Wolf” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Cloverdale Library, 401 N. Cloverdale Blvd. The puppet performance will be accompanied by the wonderful score by Sergei Prokofiev, which is a great way to introduce children to classical music.
