Tree of Remembrance and Candle Lighting

A non-denominational Tree of Remembrance and Candle Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Fred Young Funeral Home, 428 N. Cloverdale Blvd.

Father Ed Howell of Cloverdale’s Episcopal Church of the Good Shepard will officiate.

The holidays can be especially difficult for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. It is hoped that this special ceremony will offer family and friends an opportunity to share precious memories as they hang an ornament on the tree and light a candle in memory of their loved one.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served.
