THE Jazz Club presents San Francisco-based “Changed Particles” from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Cloverdale Center for the Arts, 105 E. First St.

Changed Particles, whose musical style is described as “plugged-in Jazz with a spark,” is comprised of Murray Low on piano, Jason Muscat on the electric bass and Jon Krosnick on drums.

The trio’s repertoire blends jazz styles with elements from Latin music, classical music, funk, and more. Their original compositions are mixtures of elaborate orchestration and opportunities for creative improvised solos. Their energy level is always high, even when they are cooking at a volume no louder than a whisper, or floating through the melody of a romantic ballad

Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with seating limited to the first 44 club-goers. Suggested donation is $10 for members of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance and $12 for non-members. Club refreshments served.
