There’s something new happening at the Vino di Amore Wine Tasting Lounge in downtown Cloverdale – dinner!

Every Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., a limited number of meals are being grilled on the back patio by Rick Wood, better known as Grillin’ Rick of Patti & Friends Catering.

This week, diners can choose between Herb Crusted Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Zinfandel Wine Glaze or Portabella Mushroom stuffed with veggies and herbs for only $20. Each meal includes Rice Pilaf, Fresh Salad Bar and French Bread.

Next week on Friday, Jan. 4, start the New Year off by choosing either Grilled Steak or Chicken Skewers with Veggies or Portabella Mushroom stuffed with sautéed seasonal veggies and herbs. The $20 meal includes Roasted Red Potatoes with olive oil and herbs, Caesar Salad and Sourdough Bread.

To secure your reservations, please send an email to vino@vinodiamore.com with your dinner preference.

Music starts each Friday at 7:30 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. Wine by the glass or bottle is available for purchase, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. There is no cover charge.

This week’s special guest performer is Adam Traum, whose story-driven songs and catchy guitar riffs pay homage to his musical upbringing. Next week it’s Bruce Halbohm and the Blue Jazz Combo musicians, consisting of Greg Hester on piano, Jim Passerell on bass and Tom Belton on drums.

Vino di Amore is located at 105 N. Cloverdale Blvd. For more information, contact them at 894-6166.

Lasagna for me and a Mushroom for Jean a couple of weeks ago. Took home enough for each to have a second meal. Price is right, too and great live music to boot. Thanks Patti, Ted and Deanna.
