Senior Center’s crafty idea is catching on

Monday, December 3rd, 2012 | Posted by | one response

There are supplies for crafters, quilters and stitchers. (C. Buell)

Crafter’s ReStore, formerly known as the Crafter’s Boutique at the Cloverdale Senior Center, has been so successful, it will now be open 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday instead of just on Friday.

In addition to a large selection of fabrics, yarns, patterns and knitting and crochet needles, they also have beautiful kits, buttons and doll-making accessories for sale at rock bottom prices. Since all the items have been donated for resale, the inventory is regularly changing.

Donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the Center, 311 N. Main St during their regular hours of operation. Donation receipts for tax purposes will be issued upon request.

With the newly expanded hours, crafty volunteers are needed to help with Saturday staffing. Call 894-4826 if you can help.
