THE Jazz Club presents vintage jazz and blues, hot jump and crazy funk with Marie-Louise Clark & Jazz Habit from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Cloverdale Center for the Arts, 105 E. First St.

Jazz Habit is bringing their new show, “A Tribute to Sassy Songbirds of Yesteryear,” with tunes performed by legendary chanteuses, such as, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, and Sarah Vaughan. Don’t be surprised if the group sneaks in some more “jazzed up” contemporary tunes such as “Don’t Ya Feel My Leg” by Maria Mauldur.

Band members are a versatile and talented group of musicians, including Gary Digman on guitar, Andrew Emer on bass and Tom Belton on drums.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with seating limited to the first 44 club-goers. Suggested donation is $10 for members of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance and $12 for non-members. Club refreshments served.

For more information, call 894-4410.
