Whether your interests are hometown fairs, swap meets, digital photography, Blues guitar, live theater or ways to save on your home energy bill, this week has something for you to do in Cloverdale.

~ Cloverdale Citrus Fair continues Sunday, February 19 and Monday, February 20. Doors open at 10 a.m. each day. General admission is $7, Juniors 6-12 and Seniors are $5. Children 5 and under are free. Monday is Kids’ Day. Admission is free that day for children 12 and under. For more information call 894-3992 or visit www.cloverdalecitrusfair.org.

~ Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at the Cloverdale Citrus Fair on Sunday, February 19. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Presale tickets are $40 each and can be purchased in advance at the Fair office or by calling 894-3992. No tickets will be sold at the door.

~ The monthly Fabulous Freebie Swapmeet will be held Sunday, February 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Bridge Foursquare Church, 50 Commerce Lane, Suite C in the Reuser Business Park off Asti Road. ~ On Tuesday, February 21 at 7 p.m., the Cloverdale History Center will present “Timmmberrr!” at the Cloverdale Library, 401 N. Cloverdale Blvd   The panel discussion will focus on the early days of the lumber industry in Cloverdale. Guest speakers include Allen Gummer, Jim Laier, Bruce Reuser and Bob Sciaini. A $5 donation is suggested. Light refreshments served. For more information call 894-2067.

~ Cloverdale musicians David Garland and Tom McBride will lead a free music workshop entitled “Elements of Blues Guitar” on Wednesday, February 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the First Street Gallery, 105 E. First Street. The course will cover the history, origins, and influences of blue guitar, as well as provide hands on demonstrations of technique, tone, and style. ~ On Thursday, February 23, at 1 p.m., Kathy Baldassari of the Ombudsman Program will present an informative 45 minute talk at the Cloverdale Senior Center, 311 N. Main Street, about the rights of your loved ones in long term care. Please sign up on the bulletin board at the Senior Center or call 894-4826. There is no charge for this presentation.

~ Friday, February 24 at 8 p.m. is the Opening Night performance of “Private Lives” at the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center, 209 N. Cloverdale Blvd. An addition performance will take place on Saturday, February 25, also at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.cloverdaleperformingarts.com or at The Mail Center, located next door to the theater during regular business hours.

~ On February 24, Friday Night Music at Vino di Amore, 105 N. Cloverdale Blvd., will feature the contemporary, folk and jazz sounds of Larry Potts from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Also back this evening will be Ultra Crepes, with fresh, made on the spot crepes for sale. Enjoy them with a glass of two of Milano Wine or choose from one of the many non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. No admission. 894-6166

~ Cliff Kingston, art photographer and First Street Gallery artist is presenting a series of two-day photography workshops starting Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the First Street Gallery, 105 E. First Street. The class is designed for beginnings, including children over 12, and will explore how to get the most out of your digital camera and take better pictures. Cost is $65.
